Coach Morgan Byers

Coach Morgan brings an unbelievable amount of coaching experience to Velocity.  He has coached girls and boys in both clubs and high schools, and is currently the head coach for both girls and boys at San Juan Hills High School.  He also  plays and coaches on the beach, with a current AAA ranking.  Founder of Velocity Volleyball Club, Morgan has been a fixture in the south Orange County volleyball scene as a player and coach for many years.  Click here for a list of teams he has coached.

Coach Mark Kinnison

As a middle blocker and outside hitter at UCLA, Coach Mark won three NCAA Championships as a player and one NCAA Championship as a coach.  Played on the first two undefeated teams in NCAA volleyball history.  Won "most valuable spiker" award in 1982 (the 1982 team was undefeated, with future Olympians Karch Kiraly, Ricci Luyties, Doug Partie, and Dave Saunders).  Click here and scroll down for 1982 team story.
